Strawberry Fair Short Film Festival

Every year during Strawberry Fair the festival hosts a small film festival. This allows small time film makers to present their work using the enormous crowd gathering at Strawberry Fair as an audience to distribute their work. The recent cancellation of Strawberry Fair however meant that this audience wouldn't be there. However the local council has stepped in and agreed to host the film festival as part of its 'The Big Weekend' on the 10th and 11th of July on Parker's Piece in the center of Cambridge so they will still get a big audience.

The Junction Young Ambassadors is a program created by the Junction to bring in young people to work collaboratively with each other and the Junction to make it a more 'youth friendly environment'. The group has been running since mid-March 2009. Their projects have been jobs like working with the Architecture graduates to collaboratively design a new foyer for the Junction building alongside running a Youth Summit which invites teenagers to attend the Junction to be involved in the planning for the Summer Intensive Program at the Junction.
